Description: Glamiclav Dry Syrup- Oral Suspension with Water is a combination antibiotic commonly prescribed to treat a variety of bacterial infections, especially in children. The two main components are: Amoxicillin Trihydrate (200 mg/5 mL), a penicillin-type antibiotic that works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and Potassium Clavulanate (Clavulanic Acid, 28.5 mg/5 mL), a beta-lactamase inhibitor that helps prevent certain bacteria from becoming resistant to amoxicillin. It is used in treatment of respiratory tract infections (e.g., sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia), ear infections (otitis media), urinary tract infections (UTIs) and skin and soft tissue infections.
