Description: Glaflo-OZ Tablet is a combination of Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, effective against aerobic Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and works by inhibiting DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes bacteria need to replicate and repair DNA 2 and Ornidazole, a nitroimidazole derivative (similar to metronidazole), effective against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa (e.g., Giardia, Entamoeba) and works by disrupting DNA structure in the target organisms, leading to cell death. It is used for for mixed infections, often when both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria or protozoa may be involved, such as: diarrhea and dysentery (bacterial and amoebic), giardiasis, amoebiasis, pelvic inflammatory disease, dental infections, gynecological infections, post-surgical or intra-abdominal infections, liver abscess (amoebic).

Side Effects: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, insomnia, abdominal pain, metallic or bitter taste, nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, fatigue.
